Deborah Wright was appointed Chief Executive Officer of NBN Television in June 2007.
Deborah, who also holds the dual role of NBN Television’s Station Manager, is responsible for both the station’s total broadcasting operation and NBN’s state of the art production division, One80 Digital Post.
Deborah is a long-time NBN Television executive, having been with the company since 1983.
Before her appointment to Station Manager in 2005, she held the position of General Sales & Marketing Manager of the NBN Group of companies for 14 years. She also held the unique twofold role of Advertising Manager for NBN’s newspaper, the Newcastle Star, and NBN’s Television’s General Sales & Marketing Manager’s position.
Deborah has an MBA, a Diploma in Teaching and currently holds directorships with the Hunter Economic Development Corporation, Newcastle Airport Limited, Member of the University of Newcastle and a Director of UON (University of Newcastle) Services.
